He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dennis Ceader, Karol Valey and Katherine Watts. He is survived by: his wife Sharon O'Brien; his siblings, Ted Ceader, Theresa Heywood and Dorothy McDonald; and his child Francis O'Brien. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
