Carter of Newburyport, Massachusetts, born in Peabody, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard F. Carter; her parents, Philip Pierce and Marie Pierce (Doherty); and her siblings, Phil Pierce and Ruth Linehan.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Carter, Karen "Casey" Peicott of Newburyport, Susan Gieras of Danvers, Maureen Hanley (Derek), David Carter (Mary) and Stephen Carter (Heather) of Peabody; her grandchildren, Joe Peicott, Carly Eslie, Kyle, Brett, Kristen Gieras, Dana Hayes, Connor Hanley, Hailey, Cameron Carter, Matt Remon, Nick Allen, Chris Vasa, Stephen, Victoryia Carter and Makhaila Olson; her great grandchildren, Theo Hayes, Joey Peicott and Ava Allen; and her sister-in-law Sandra Pierce. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic her funeral service will be private.
