It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Venetia K. Mio of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 18, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Napolean Katsoules and Antonia Katsoules (Petropolous) of New Bedford, MA.; her sisters, Antonia Katsoules (Bunny) and Valerie Thornley (Candy); and her nephew Robert Thornley.

She is survived by: her husband Lou Mio; her daughter Andrea Mio; her brother Nicholas Katsoules (Linda); and her nieces and nephews, Angela Boudreau (Norman), Lisa Eusebio, Kara Reis (Josh), Peter Katsoules (Paige), Thomas Thornley (Ann) and Andrew Thornley.
