She is survived by: her sons, Carlos Verissimo of New Bedford and Manuel Verissimo of St. Miguel; her siblings, Maria Flor, Maria Mendes of New Bedford, John Carvalho of Acushnet and Jose A Carvalho Roque of St. Miguel; her granddaughter Angie Verissimo of New Bedford; and her sister Maria Cabral.
