He was predeceased by: his wife Hortencia Carreiro (Soares); his parents, Julio Jacinto and Rosalina Carreiro (Machado); his child Laudalino Machado; and his siblings, Andre Carreiro Machado, Ernesto Jacinto Carreiro, Laudalino Correia, Jose Carreiro Machado and Sara Correia.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Natalie Correia (Adrian) of New Bedford and Nicole Machado of New Bedford; his great grandchildren, Adrian Correia of New Bedford and Julian Correia of New Bedford; his sister Lucilia Macedo of Canada; and his children, Edgard Machado and Zulima Almeida.
