He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecilia Raposo and Manuel Neto Raposo; and his sisters, Maria Natividade Cordeiro and Teresa Cordeiro. He is survived by: his wife Maria; his daughters, Connie Medeiros (Gilberto), Mary Jo Freitas (Jose) and Ana DeSousa (Gilbert); his grandsons, Matthew (Cassie), Brendan Medeiros, Austin and Logan DeSousa; and his siblings, Augusto Raposo and Margarida Nascimento (Fred).
