She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Beverly Amarantes of New Bedford and Alan Mello; her stepparent Chris Silva; her sons, Richard L. Hernandez, Jr. of New Bedford and Lyrick L. Hernandez of New Bedford; her significant other Derek Michaud of New Bedford; the father of her children Richard L. Hernandez of New Bedford; her sisters, Faith M. Mello (Tony Peterson) of Lehi and Kimberly K. Silva (Keith Amarantes) of New Bedford; her half-brothers, Chris Silva, Jr. of New Bedford and Jeff Silva (Joyce) of Fall River; and her nieces and nephews, Christian Rosparka, Piper Peterson, Jeffrey Silva, Jr. and Skyler Amarantes. She was also cherished by Her family includes her mother.
