Sidney H. Kaplan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2018, at the age of 94, Sidney H. Kaplan (New Bedford, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Nathan Kaplan. He is survived by: his parent Ethel Kaplan (Long); his wife Barbara Kaplan; his children, Andrew Kaplan (Danielle Jackson) of Kittery, ME and Peter Kaplan (Kate) of Concord; his grandchildren, Sophia Kaplan and Elise Kaplan; and his sister Charlotte Salon of Dartmouth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home, Kaplan Scholarship Fund, 200 Hawthorn St., New Bedford, MA 02740 or a children's charity of choice.
