It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawn A. Pires of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 6, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Pinto. He is survived by: his spouse Ivan Alves Costa; his mother Manuela "Penny" Pires; his brother Manuel Pires of Fall River; his nephews, Teddy Baker of Boston and Alex Pires of New Bedford; his great-nephews, Jordan Coffin of Boston and Teddy Baker, Jr. of Boston; his great-niece Alia Coffin of Boston; and his cousin Trevor Gomes of New Bedford.
