Ruth P. Gomes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth P. Gomes of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 15, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Baptista and Evelyn Baptista (Morse); her pet Evie; her children, Paul Gomes (Marcia) of Grosse Pointe, Pamela Harris of New Bedford and Michael Gomes of New Bedford; her siblings, John "Augie" Baptista of San Antonio, Texas, Rosa Baptista of Dartmouth and Patricia Perry (William) of New Bedford; her grandchildren, Gemery Gomes, Michael Harris, Leah Harris and Jonathan Harris; her great grandchildren, Elysian Gomes, Gaira Gomes and Calliope Gomes; her niece Gina Emerson; and her nephews, Billy Perry and Paul Kotlawski.
