She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Machado Avila and Izaura Avila (Sylvia); her grandson Eric Avila; and her brother Joseph Avila. She is survived by: her spouse Raphel W. Queen; her sons, Joseph Avila of New Bedford and Shane Kimball of New Bedford; her siblings, Raymond Avila, Tony Avila, Bob Avila and Deloris Simmons; her grandchildren, Paige Avila, Angel Kimball and Shane Kimball, Jr.; her great grandchild Josiah Avila; and her sisters, Theresa Lagasse and Nancy D'Araujo.
