He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Abreu and Hortencia Fontes; his wife Emily R. Alves of New Bedford; his children, Michael Abreu (Whitney) of Bailey Island, Peter Abreu (Carole) of Bristol, Robin Knoblauch of Illinois, Bobbie-Lee Collins of Washington and Wendy Reardon (Gary) of So; his stepdaughter Brooke Alves of Dartmouth; and his sisters, Sharron Reynolds of Michigan and Deryl Diane Al-Alam of New Bedford.
