We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2021, at the age of 77, Richard Tavares of New Bedford, Massachusetts, born in Falmouth, Massachusetts passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Tavares to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Pina and Matilde Pina (Tavares); his daughter Tara Greenwood (Rob) of Fall River; his sisters, Anna Pina of New Bedford, Dominga Pina of New Bedford and Suzanne Pina of New Bedford; his stepchildren, Charles Medeiros, Donna Medeiros, Shawna Medeiros and Audra Medeiros; and his grandsons, Isaiah and Joshua Greenwood. He was also cherished by several step-grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
