He was predeceased by: his spouse Emily Arruda; his parent Edward L. Arruda; and his child Michael Arruda. He is survived by: his parent Elsie Arruda (Pires); his fiancée Elizabeth Ann Carvalho; his daughter Lisa Dumont; his former wife Joyce Arruda; his grandchildren, Richard, Brandon, Michael Dumont and Savanna Arruda; his stepdaughters, Constance and Mandy Garcia; and his sister Joan Arruda. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
