She is survived by: her close friend Jean Andrade; her sister Christine Sylvia; her uncles, Manuel Borges of New Bedford and George Lima of New Bedford; her nieces, Sharon Oliveira, Sarah Oliveira, Rachel Sylvia and Kristen Sylvia; her nephew John Sylvia; and her former husband Carlos Burgo of Westport.
