With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melanie L. Washburn of New Bedford, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2024 at the age of 43. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Melanie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Melanie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Sharon P. Washburn; her children, Terrell L. Pina of New Bedford and Jozlyn L. Ortega of New Bedford; her siblings, Joshua Washburn (Kristy) of New Bedford, Manny Washburn (Stephanie) of Dartmouth, Tyler Washburn of Dartmouth, Tracie Costa (Gene) of Wareham and Jasmine Washburn of Dartmouth; and her grandchildren, Jakoby, Josian and Jarius.
