She was predeceased by: her spouse Jose Carvalho; her parent Joao Arruda; and her siblings, Joao Arruda, Artur Arruda, Duarte Arruda, Jose Arruda, Miguel Arruda, Mariano Arruda and Maria Oliveira.
She is survived by: her parent Maria Arruda (Dos Anjos); her sons, Joseph Carvalho (Murielle) of New Bedford, Paul A. Carvalho (Mary-Jo) of New Bedford, John A. Carvalho (Joann) of New Bedford, Michael A. Carvalho (Linda) of New Bedford, Horacio Carvalho (Emilia) of Taunton and Jorge A. Carvalho of Austin; and her sister Benvinda Vultao. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
