She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Baptiste; her parents, Carlos Barrett and Virginia Barrett (Nunes); her son Joseph Baptiste, Jr.; her brother Joseph Barrett (late Elizabeth); and her grandchild Tracy Lee Baptiste.
She is survived by: her niece Deborah Barrett; her daughters, Mary Baptiste of New Bedford and Carla Baptiste of New Bedford; her sisters, Vivian Pina (late John Pina, Jr.) of Wareham, Lorraine Ferguson (Roland) of New Bedford and Gloria Gomes (late Harold, Sr.) of New Bedford; her grandchildren, Jason Baptiste, Victor Manny Baptiste, Dana Baptiste, Sr., Patricia Baptiste, Lilian Baptiste, Ashlee Northup, Derek Baptiste, Sr., Jasmine Baptiste, Endia Davon Baptiste, Tyrannie Lynn Baptiste and Terrell L. Baptiste; her sister-in-law Jean Barrett of Virginia; her daughters, Virginia "Gina" Baptiste Cruz and Brenda Lee Baptiste; and her siblings, Paul Barrett and Grace DeBarros (late William).
