It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mario J. Correia of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 12, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Correia and Loverlinda Correia (Ferreira); his daughter Paula Cristina Vieira; and his brother Paulo Correia. He is survived by: his children, Elisabete Coelho (David) of So, Dartmouth, Carolina Correia of So and Ricardo Correia of New Bedford; his son-in-law Marco Vieira of Fall River; his close friend Esmeralda "Margot" Martinez of New Bedford; his sisters, Helena Pacheco, Sandra Martines, Carmen Correia and Ana Correia of Canada; his grandchildren, Stephanie Vieira, Marco Vieira, Jr., Nicholas Victor Coelho, Adrianna Rivera, Hailey Rivera, Jacob Rivera and Ricardo Correia, Jr.; and his siblings, Gualter Correia, Eduarda Correia and Susana Correia.
