It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Zelia Giesta of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, José Félix and Rego Giesta (Pontes); her sons, Rogério F. and Costa (Adilia) of São Miguel, Azores.; her grandson Leonardo; and her siblings, José F. Giesta and Berta Maria Carvalho. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
