She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Augusto; her parents, Francisco and Rosario Machado (Santos); her daughter Maria Sousa of Dartmouth; her son-in-law Jose Sousa of Dartmouth; her brother Carlos Machado (Maria) of Dartmouth; her grandchildren, Amy Hester (Douglas), Liza Sousa and Kelly Senra (Miguel); and her great grandchildren, Mia Amaral, Ellena Senra, Douglas Hester, Josie Senra and Bradley Hester.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 230 Bonney Street, New Bedford, MA 02744.
