She is survived by: her children, Luis Barbosa (Particia) of New Bedford, Francisco Barbosa (Zelia Jardin) of Fairhaven, Carlos Barbosa (Kelly Spring) of Omaha, Nebraska, Osvalda Pontes (Eugenio) of New Bedford, Maria (Antonio) of Lurdes Silva, Teresa Sousa (Luis) of New Bedford and Merces Botelho (Arnaldo) of New Bedford; and her sister Teresa Silva of São Miguel, Açores.
