She was predeceased by: her parents, Joaquim Manuel Silva and Rosa Anjos Silva (Soares); and her husband José Florindo Valente. She is survived by: her children, José A. Valente (Antonia) of New Bedford and Rosa M. Ferreira (late John Filipe) of New Bedford; her sisters, Rosa Matos of Naugatuck and Gracinda Reis (Antonio) of Veiros, Portugal; her grandchildren, Philip, Kelly, Tara, Kristen and Natasha (Greg); and her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Gabriella, Alexander, Mariana, Addison and Olivia.
