She was predeceased by: her spouse Zacarias A. Borges; and her parents, Manuel Sousa and Maria A. Sousa (Pacheco). She is survived by: her daughter Suzanne M. Costa-Ventura (Michael Ventura) of New Bedford; her grandson Matthew Costa (Tricia) of Utah; and her siblings, Ilda Botelho (David) of New Bedford, Louis Sousa (Luisa) of Fall River and Lourdes Guilherme (late Antonio) of Tiverton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maria's memory to a charity of one's choice.
