She was predeceased by: her spouse João L. Rosonina; her parents, José Frias and Maria Frias (Alexandre); and her sibling Libania Matos. She is survived by: her children, Dinarte J. Rosonina (Susan) of Mims, FL, Paul G. Rosonina (Christina) of So, Nelson M. Rosonina (Manuel P. Tavares) of Westport, Lucy C. Medeiros (Dartmouth) of So, Maria D. Santos (José) of New Bedford, Isabel M. Cardoso (Carlos) of Fairhaven and Zelia C. Sarmento (Paul) of New Bedford; and her siblings, Conceicão Linhares of Canada, Ivelia Frias of Dartmouth, José, João and Zacarias Frias. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
