He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Manuel Pereria and Ligia; his wife Ligia Pereira (Dias) of New Bedford; his son Armando M. Pereira (Elizabeth) of Wareham, MA; his siblings, Antonio Pereira of New Bedford, Jose Pereira of Faial, Azores, Manuela of Portugal and Fernanda of Portugal; and his granddaughter Victoria Ana Dumas. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
