He was predeceased by: his parents, Mariano Monte and Belmira Monte (Correia); and his sibling Jeremias Monte. He is survived by: his children, Zachary Monte (Tamara) and Jessica Monte; and his sisters, Natalia Pacheco (Mariano) and Rosa Mauricio (Jose). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
