He was predeceased by: his parents, Manoel S. Moreira, Sr. and Laurieta Moreira (Barros); and his sibling Mauri Moreira. He is survived by: his children, Orlando S. Moreira of New Bedford, Charles S. Moreira of New Bedford, Ione M. Caplette (Dennis) of Acushnet and Laurie M. Soares of Florida; his brother Orlando Moreira (Lucia) of Brazil; his grandsons, Brant Moreira (Ashley Bingham) and Justin Moreira; and his great grandchild Zoe Moreira.
