She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Paulo Alves; and her parents, Antonio Padeiro and Maria Do Carmo Padeiro. She is survived by: her sons, Manuel A. Alves (Suzana) of New Bedford and Victor P. Alves (Irene) of New Bedford; and her grandchildren, Alexander Alves (Brooke Vinagre), Tatiana Alves, Skyla Alves and Tiago Araujo.
