Carlesi, Jr.; his son Garrett Alves; his brother Larry Carlesi (Rose); his nephews, Owen and Matthew; his siblings-in-law, Christian and Donna DeMarinis; his nieces and nephews, Wrigley Shea and Walker Rayden DeMarinis; his father-in-law Dennis DeMarinis, Sr. (Patricia DeMarinis); and also Isabella Rose DeMarinis.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Louis' memory to American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300.

“I may be making a silly mistake, but I believe Louis and I attended Jireh Swift together having Miss O’Leary in kindergarten. I was there the day he fell down running too fast in class to get a carton of milk-I think he got stitches. I tried to tell him to slow down…Later we were maypole partners-I think he wore dark blue pants-he was very sweet. I saw him later in life at the hospital, but regretfully did not say hello as he was busy. So young-I am sorry-may he be at peace. Gayle”
