He is survived by: his wife Susan Houghton (Monty); his children, Jamie Freire (Jonathan) of New Bedford, Nicholas of New Bedford and Daniel Houghton of New Bedford; his grandchildren, Dylan Goodman of New Bedford, Ayden of New Bedford, Caleb of New Bedford and Brooke Freire of New Bedford; and his brothers, Alton Houghton of Stoughton, David Houghton (Marilyn) of Taunton and Brian Houghton. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
