Judith A. Luiz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith A. Luiz of New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Luiz; her parents, William C. Tavares and Edith L. Chase (Lawrence); her stepson Alan Luiz; and her brothers, Ernest Tavares, Michael Chase, Robert Chase and Melvin Chase.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Luiz (Lee) of Viera, Wayne Venancio (Gwen) of Fairhaven and Donna Silva (Joseph) of New Bedford; her stepson Michael Luiz (Tammy) of New Bedford; her daughter-in-law Joann Luiz of Sarasota, Florida; her siblings, Daniel "Dynamite" Chase of New Bedford, Manuel Chase of New Bedford, Caroline Weeks of Wareham and Debbie Demelo (Manuel) of New Bedford; her nephew Russ; and her niece Diane Junier. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
