He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Luiz and Lena Luiz (Medeiros). He is survived by: his wife Judith A. (Tavares); and his children, Michael Luiz (Tammy) of New Bedford, Alan Luiz (Joann) of Sarasota, Jeffrey Luiz (Lee) of Viera, Wayne Venancio (Gwen) of Fairhaven and Donna Silva (Joseph) of New Bedford. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Alzheimers' Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham.
