He was predeceased by: his spouse Eleanor Alves (Oliver); his parent Manuel Alves; and his sibling Mary Louise Medeiros. He is survived by: his parent Mary Alves (Sylvia); his children, Stephen Alves (Linda) of Somerset, Susan Allen (Terry) of Acushnet and Joanne Menard of New Bedford; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Chelsea, Austin, Peter, Kayla and Brian. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
