He was predeceased by: his father Antonio Juan Medina Acevedo. He is survived by: his spouse Johann Santiago Rodriguez; his mother Judith Lugo Irizarry of Puerto Rico; his children, José Medina Santiago of New Bedford, Nellmarie Medina Santiago of New Bedford and Nellyanne Medina Santiago of New Bedford; his siblings, Antonio Medina, Gloria Medina, Maritza Medina, Yahaira Medina, Leticia Medina Lugo, Rosa A. Medina Lugo, Luz Maria Medina Lugo, Carlos O. Cruz Lugo, Taysha Medina Rodriguez, Katherine Medina Rodriguez, Adriana Medina Rodriguez and Juan Isaac Medina Rodriguez; and his grandchildren, Jaziel A. Lozada Medina and Nailea I. DeLeon Medina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
