He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jorge Quirino of Brito and Matilde Ermelinda (Gonsalves Oliveira) of Brito; his wife Maria Eugenia Brito (Freitas) of New Bedford; his children, Nuno Filipe Freitas of New Bedford and Sonia Patricia Brito of New Bedford; and his siblings, Jorge Brito, Carmina Candido, Albertina "Tina" Ferreira, Martin Brito, Ino Saunders, Olga Arraiol, José Brito, Paula Brito, Conceição "Sao" Brito, Amandio Brito and Dalila Brito. He was also cherished by Several brothers and sisters in law and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Aubertine-Lopes Funeral Home & Cremation (129 Allen St, New Bedford, MA 02740). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church (136 Earle St, New Bedford, MA 02746).
