He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Santos and Leopoldina Dos Santos (Nogueira); his siblings, Antonio Martins and Maria "Ceu" Francisco; and his siblings-in-law, Rosaria Martins and Manuel B. Francisco.
He is survived by: his wife Esmeralda (Gaspperazzo); his children, Michelle Nunes of Dartmouth, Kelley G. Couto (Brian) of Dartmouth and Brian G. Dos Santos (Vicki) of New Bedford; his brother Avelino Martins (Alda) of Ludlow; his grandchildren, Alyssa (Emanuel), Kristen, Savannah, Genesis, Liam, Shelby, Brandon and Austin; and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Gabriel, Brooklynne, Noah, Athena, Ashton and Ariella. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Aubertine-Lopes Funeral Home & Cremation (129 Allen St, New Bedford, MA 02740). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Evangelical Church (129 Hathaway Blvd, New Bedford, MA 02740).
