She was predeceased by: her husband Jose R. Tavares; and her daughters, Adelaide Borges, Venilde Rocha and Graca Correira. She is survived by: her children, Lucia Arruda of Wareham, Evelina Cordeiro of Canada, Fatima M. Vicente of New Bedford, Jose M Tavares of Florida, Fernando J. Tavares of Acushnet and Joao P. Tavares of Acushnet. She is also survived by many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
