He was predeceased by: his parents, Joaquim Torres and Maria Torres (Pacheco). He is survived by: his daughters, Berta Rocha (Jose) of New Bedford, Iola Torres of New Mexico and Bertha Torres of New Bedford; his stepdaughters, Helena Kouta of New Bedford, Tina Vidal of Wareham, Virginia Vidal of Canada and Hilda Rebello of New Bedford; and his sister Hilda Rebello of New Bedford. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
