He was predeceased by: his parents George H. and Gladys (Murray) Cafferty. He is survived by: his wife, Ann Marie (Healy); his sons, Shawn Cafferty of New Bedford and Peter Cafferty (Amie) of Tewksbury; his grandchildren, Devin Rutter of Danvers, Julia Cafferty and Liam Cafferty; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ducharme of New Bedford, Dorothy Tweedie of New Bedford, Kathleen Greely (Wallace) of New Bedford, Martha Monti (Anthony) of Holbrook, Marsha Rego of Hanson and Thomas F. Healy IV (Susan). He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made in George's memory to Holy Family-Holy Name School, 91 Summer Street, New Bedford, MA 02740.
