Frima Shapiro Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frima Shapiro (New Bedford, Massachusetts), born in Lewiston, Maine, who passed away on January 18, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Goldman and Deborah Kaplan Goldman; and her siblings, Dr. Richard Goldman and Elaine Cohen. She is survived by: her daughter Beth (Roman); her caregivers, Song Be, Vietnam, Lima, Arequipa, Peru, Phnom Penh and Cambodia; her husband Dr. Gilbert Shapiro; her daughters, Karen Shapiro of Needham and Ruth Shapiro; her grandchildren, Elise Lewyckyj Peck (Samuel) of San Francisco and Jonathan Lewyckyj of Chicago, Illinois; and her siblings-in-law, Stuart Cohen (Carmen) of Lewiston, Maine and Renee Rubin (Jack) of Auburndale, Massachusetts. She is also survived by niece and nephews.
