He was predeceased by: his parent Francisco Ambrozo; and his child Duarte M. Araujo. He is survived by: his parent Maria Estrela Araujo (Correia); his wife Aldora; his children, Zelia DeMelo (Fernando), Fatima Araujo, Durval Araujo (Alcina), Robert F. Araujo and Billy F. Araujo; and his brother Urbano Araujo. He is also survived by 3 other brothers and a sister living in Portugal and several nieces and nephews.
