She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Leite and Maria Leite; her husband John Faria; and her siblings, Amadeu and Emilia.
She is survived by: her children, João Faria of New Bedford, Robinson Faria of Washington, DC and Jennifer Faria (David Rucker) of South Dartmouth; her siblings, Madalena of Brazil, Dolores of Brazil, Andre of Brazil and Rosali of Brazil; and her grandchildren, Jonathan R. Faria, Alyssa Faria, Adriana Faria and Ace D. Rucker.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Aubertine-Lopes Funeral Home & Cremation (129 Allen St, New Bedford, MA 02740). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (230 Bonney St, New Bedford, MA 02744).
