It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Filomena Maria Torres (New Bedford, Massachusetts), who passed away on February 28, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Arthur M. Torres (Cara) of New Bedford and Michelle Torres of New Bedford; and her siblings, Jaime of Canada, Manuel of Canada, Mario of Canada, Alice Barbosa, Ilda Pacheco, Luisa Isabel Sousa of Acushnet and Ana Maria Soares of New Bedford. She is also survived by four grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
