She was predeceased by: her spouse Alvarino Jorge; her parents, Antonio Abreu Ferro and Maria; and her brother Jorge Ferro. She is survived by: her son David Jorge (Maryann) of New Bedford; her sisters, Lena Gomes of Dartmouth and Bernadette Sousa of Redwood City, CA; her sister-in-law Maria Ferro of New Bedford; her grandsons, Troy Jorge of Chicago, IL and Zach Jorge (Rye-Ji Kim) of San Diego, CA; and her siblings, João Ferro, José Ferro, Adelino Ferro and Mary Sa.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
