She was predeceased by: her parents, Clodomiro Machado and Candida Machado (Nunes); and her siblings, Elmo Melo, Aldemiro Machado, Manuel Simas Melo, Maria Alves, Olga Goulart, Izilda Nunes, Alina São João, Arminda and Silva. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
