He was predeceased by: his child Scott A. Smith; his sibling Carol "Kelly" Smith; and his parents, Francis E. Smith and Florence Smith (Moore). He is survived by: his sons, Paul E. Smith (Diann) of Weare, NH, Peter F. Smith (Nikki), Timothy and Jacq-Smith (Christine) of Westport; his grandchildren, Eric, Ian, Devon, Benjamin and Sophia; and his siblings, Raymond Smith (Maryanne) of Riverside, RI, Walter Smith of Cranston, RI and Florence Soderland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
