Elizabeth Matathia Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Matathia (New Bedford, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband David Matathia; and her parents, Samuel Minkin and Theresa Minkin. She is survived by: her children, Susan Miller (Jerry) of Jerusalem, Ellen Matathia (Stu) of Lincoln, MA, Sandy Matathia (Bethann) of Reading, MA and Mat Matathia (Kris) of Mattapoisett, MA.; and her grandchildren, Mati, Dari, Tali, Shmaya, Kavi, Ben, Jason, Josh, Sarah, Justin, Shannon, Sam and Alex. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren.
