She was predeceased by: her spouse Frank J. Duarte; her parent Thuribio Silva; and her sibling Percy. She is survived by: her parent Gertrude Silva (Rose); her daughters, Francine Duarte and Patricia Duarte; her grandchildren, Nacean Purnell and Dennicia Purnell; her great grandchild Avant Purnell; and her siblings, Salvatore, Arthur, Thuribio Silva, Daminga Dade, Juliana Britto, Priscilla Watkins, Mary Watkins and Eva Lopes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
