He was predeceased by: his parent Edward Emmett; his child David A. Emmett, Jr.; and his sibling Edward Emmett. He is survived by: his parent Viola Emmett (Cobb); his daughter Dawn Fernandes of New Bedford; his stepdaughter Lani Roach of California; his daughter-in-law Pamela Emmett of Dartmouth; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Sandra, Kayla, Samantha, Molly Emmett, Kristen Cardozo, Crystal Pacheco and Matthew Bettencourt.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to David's family for the celebration of his life cookout.
